Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and explains how California residents can exercise their rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
Our Position on "Selling" and "Sharing"
Cardiff Valero Market does not sell personal information in exchange for monetary consideration, and does not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.
You may nonetheless submit a request to opt out of any future sale or sharing, and we will honor it.
Categories of Personal Information Collected
In the preceding 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information, as described in our Privacy Policy:
- Identifiers (name, address, email, phone)
- California customer records (for employment applications)
- Commercial information (transaction records)
- Internet or network activity (IP address, browsing data on our Site)
- Geolocation data (approximate, derived from IP)
- Professional or employment-related information (from applicants)
- Inferences drawn from the above for limited purposes
We collect this information directly from you, automatically via cookies and similar technology, and occasionally from service providers.
Your California Rights
You have the right to:
- Opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information
- Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
- Access specific pieces of personal information we have about you
- Delete personal information we have collected, subject to legal exceptions
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny you goods or services, charge a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised a privacy right
How to Submit a Request
There are three ways to submit an opt-out or other privacy request:
- Email us at info@cardiffvalero.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. Include your full name, address, email or phone we have on file, and the specific right you wish to exercise.
- Call us at (760) 436-1820 during business hours (Mon–Sun, 6 AM – Midnight Pacific Time).
- Enable Global Privacy Control in your browser. We honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out.
Verification
To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. Verification typically requires you to confirm information already on file (for example, email address or phone number used for prior interactions). We use the information you provide only to verify your identity.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written authorization signed by you, and we may require you to verify your identity directly or confirm that you authorized the agent.
Response Timing
We acknowledge receipt of requests within 10 business days and respond within 45 calendar days. In certain cases we may extend by an additional 45 days with written notice. If we cannot fulfill a request in whole or in part, we will explain the reason.
Non-Discrimination Commitment
Exercising your privacy rights will never result in denial of goods or services, different pricing, different quality, or any other adverse consequence.
Minors
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16 years of age. Parents or guardians may submit requests on behalf of minor children.
